Do's and Dont's of Paranormal Investigation

Last updated on: 03/07/2010

Do:

...take an investigation serious. Consider this a science. Does a chemist mix chemicals haphazardly? This is an investigation, not a "hunting". Do you "hunt" living people? Your trying to find out the truth of one of mankind's greatest mysteries - Is there life after death?

...clear your mind as much as possible. Try to maintain a positive attitude that the investigation will yield positive results.

...record as much details as possible, whether in the form of photos, video, audio, instrument readings, or written notes .

Don't:

...take an investigation lightly.

...go into an investigation with dark or negative thoughts (of anger or doubt). This will only block you from keeping an open, receptive mind to possible contact.

...use a threatening or belligerent tone when trying to communicate with spirits. Think of it in terms of communicating with a living person. Do you walk up to someone you don't know and shout and demand something from them? This isn't some sensationalized TV show. Talk and listen respectfully.
